GLOBERRY TERMS OF SERVICE
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Globerry. By creating an account, accessing, downloading, browsing, or using the Globerry mobile application, website, blog, legal pages, or related services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Globerry.

These Terms cover the Globerry mobile application, website, blog, legal pages, official accounts, and all related services.
1. DEFINITIONS
“Globerry”, “we”, “us”, or “our” means Globerry, operated by Jan Tudruj, Poland.
“Service” means the Globerry mobile application, website, blog, legal pages, maps, profiles, pins, badges, collections, notifications, affiliate links, content, features, and related services.
“App” means the Globerry mobile application for iOS and Android.
“Website” means the Globerry website, including landing pages, blog posts, legal pages, and any other web pages operated by Globerry.
“User”, “you”, or “your” means any person who accesses or uses the Service.
“Content” means any photos, images, avatars, usernames, profile information, bios, pins, comments, tips, descriptions, locations, GPS coordinates, categories, vibes, seasonality information, badges, collections, reports, messages, or other material uploaded, submitted, created, saved, posted, displayed, or otherwise made available through Globerry.
“User Content” means Content uploaded, submitted, created, saved, posted, displayed, or otherwise made available by users.
“Pin” means a location-based post or place added to Globerry, including photos, GPS location, categories, vibes, seasonality, travel tips, comments, likes, saves, visits, and related metadata.
“Unique Stay” means an accommodation-related pin for an exceptional or distinctive place to stay, such as a treehouse, glass cabin, cave house, floating home, tiny house, remote cabin, or other accommodation selected or approved by Globerry.
“Affiliate Link” means a link to a third-party booking, activity, travel, or commercial partner from which Globerry may receive compensation.
2. ABOUT GLOBERRY
Globerry is a social travel application that helps users discover, save, share, and explore unique places around the world.
Globerry allows users to add pins with photos, locations, categories, vibes, seasonality, and travel tips; discover pins on a map; browse posts from other travelers; mark places as visited using the “Been Here” feature; build a Travel Map; collect badges and progress statistics; follow other users; like, save, and comment on pins; submit Unique Stay pins for admin review; and access external booking or activity links where available.
Globerry is not a travel agency, tour operator, accommodation provider, transportation provider, emergency service, rescue service, safety service, official navigation service, weather service, legal advisory service, or official source of access information.
3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 16 years old to use Globerry.
By using Globerry, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old, have the legal capacity to accept these Terms, your use of Globerry is lawful in your country or region, and the information you provide is accurate and complete.
If you are under the required age or are prohibited from using Globerry under applicable law, you must not use the Service.
4. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
Certain features require an account. You may register using email and password, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In where available.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete account information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must not create an account for someone else without permission, impersonate another person or organization, use a username that is misleading or unlawful, suggest official status without authorization, sell or transfer your account, or use your account for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.
Globerry reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject, remove, reclaim, transfer, or reassign usernames, including usernames that may infringe rights, mislead users, impersonate others, violate these Terms, or be needed for official, administrative, brand, safety, legal, or business purposes.
You must notify us immediately at contact@globerry.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
5. PUBLIC PINS AND PROFILE VISIBILITY
Pins added to Globerry are public by default. This means that photos, locations, categories, vibes, tips, seasonality information, comments, and other details associated with a pin may be visible to other users of the App.
Globerry does not currently offer private pins or private posts.
Users may choose to make their profile private. When a profile is private, other users cannot view the profile, but public pins may remain visible and may appear as added by an anonymous or private user depending on the App design.
Even if your profile is private, pins and content you submit to public areas of Globerry may remain visible to other users.
6. USER CONTENT OWNERSHIP
You retain ownership of intellectual property rights you have in your User Content. However, by uploading, posting, submitting, creating, or making User Content available through Globerry, you grant Globerry the rights described in Section 7.
You are solely responsible for your User Content.
You represent and warrant that you own your User Content or have all rights, permissions, licenses, and consents necessary to upload and share it; your User Content does not infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, image, database, contractual, or other rights; your User Content does not violate applicable law; and if your User Content includes recognizable people, private property, accommodation interiors, copyrighted works, artworks, logos, or protected material, you have obtained any necessary permissions.
7. LICENSE GRANTED TO GLOBERRY
By uploading, posting, submitting, creating, or otherwise making User Content available through Globerry, you grant Globerry a worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, copy, display, publish, distribute, redistribute, transmit, communicate, publicly perform, publicly display, make available, adapt, crop, resize, reformat, translate, edit, modify, create derivative works from, promote, and otherwise use your User Content in connection with Globerry and Globerry’s business activities.
This license includes, without limitation, the right to use User Content inside the App, on the Website, in the Globerry blog, on Globerry social media accounts including Instagram and TikTok, in promotional videos, reels, shorts, stories, ads, App Store and Google Play materials, screenshots, previews, feature graphics, press kits, media materials, newsletters, landing pages, presentations, editorial collections, travel guides, curated lists, recommendations, and promotional campaigns.
Globerry may crop, resize, reformat, add captions, add text overlays, add graphic elements, add branding, add watermarks, add stickers, add music, create edits, create reels, and otherwise adapt User Content for marketing, editorial, product, and promotional purposes.
This license survives deletion of your account, deletion of individual content from Globerry, suspension or termination of your account, and discontinuation of your use of the Service.
If your User Content has already been used in marketing, social media, blog posts, promotional materials, paid advertisements, editorial collections, screenshots, app store materials, or other external materials, you acknowledge that Globerry may not be able or required to remove such uses after your account or content is deleted.
You agree that you are not entitled to compensation, royalties, revenue share, attribution beyond any attribution Globerry chooses to provide, approval rights, review rights, or additional permission requests for Globerry’s use of User Content under this license.
Globerry may, but is not required to, credit you or link to your profile or social media account when using User Content.
8. OFFICIAL GLOBERRY CONTENT
Globerry may publish content through official Globerry accounts. Official content may include editorial recommendations, licensed photographs, creator-provided content used with permission, partner-provided content, community-sourced content, curated places, promotional or sponsored content, and official pins added to seed the map and improve discovery.
Globerry may credit creators, photographers, travelers, partners, or sources where appropriate. Such credit does not create employment, partnership, agency, sponsorship, revenue-sharing, or ownership rights unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Globerry may edit, remove, feature, promote, archive, or update official content at its discretion.
9. COMMUNITY RULES
You agree not to upload, post, submit, create, save, display, or distribute Content that infringes intellectual property rights; uses photos, videos, text, or other material without permission; contains spam, scams, phishing, malware, viruses, or malicious code; is false, misleading, fraudulent, deceptive, or inaccurate; impersonates another person, creator, brand, business, accommodation, or organization; falsely suggests partnership, verification, endorsement, or official status; contains hate speech, harassment, bullying, threats, abuse, discrimination, or violence; contains nudity, pornography, sexual content, or sexually exploitative material; exploits, harms, or endangers minors; contains graphic violence or instructions for dangerous or illegal acts; reveals private personal information of another person without permission; encourages trespassing, breaking local laws, bypassing security, entering restricted areas, or accessing dangerous places unlawfully; promotes unsafe behavior, dangerous stunts, self-harm, or harm to others; contains unauthorized advertising, commercial spam, referral spam, or manipulative promotion; or violates applicable law, third-party rights, or these Terms.
You must not use Globerry to scrape, crawl, copy, harvest, mirror, or collect data or content without permission; reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code; interfere with or overload Globerry systems; bypass security or access restrictions; manipulate likes, saves, comments, rankings, badges, visits, or visibility; create fake accounts, fake pins, fake engagement, or misleading submissions; or use the Service for unlawful, harmful, abusive, or exploitative purposes.
Globerry may remove or restrict Content that violates these Terms or that we consider harmful to the community, even if it does not clearly violate a specific rule.
10. UNIQUE STAY SUBMISSIONS
Unique Stay pins are subject to additional review and moderation. A Unique Stay should represent an exceptional or distinctive accommodation, such as a treehouse, glass cabin, cave house, floating home, unusual cabin, remote stay, or other accommodation selected for its special character.
You must not submit ordinary hotels, standard apartments, hostels, generic short-term rentals, unrelated businesses, fake accommodations, inaccessible properties, or misleading accommodation content as Unique Stays.
Submission of a Unique Stay does not guarantee approval, publication, visibility, featured placement, affiliate inclusion, commercial promotion, permanent availability, attribution, or compensation.
Globerry reserves the sole right to approve, reject, edit, remove, feature, monetize, add affiliate links to, or otherwise manage Unique Stay pins.
If Globerry adds affiliate links or commercial links to a Unique Stay, such links belong to Globerry. Users are not entitled to commissions, referral payments, royalties, revenue share, compensation, or any other financial benefit related to such links unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
11. AFFILIATE LINKS AND COMMERCIAL CONTENT
Globerry may display affiliate links, commercial links, sponsored links, booking links, activity links, or other external links related to accommodations, experiences, tours, travel services, or other travel-related offerings.
These may include Booking.com, GetYourGuide, and other travel, accommodation, activity, or booking partners. Globerry may receive compensation when users click, book, purchase, or otherwise interact with such links.
Users acknowledge and agree that affiliate and commercial links are controlled by Globerry; Globerry may add, remove, replace, edit, approve, reject, or monetize affiliate links at its sole discretion; users are not entitled to compensation, commissions, referral payments, royalties, revenue share, or other financial benefits related to affiliate links, featured placements, commercial partnerships, or editorial selections; and submitting a location does not create a partnership, agency, employment, sponsorship, commercial relationship, or revenue-sharing arrangement with Globerry.
Globerry may prioritize, feature, promote, highlight, or commercially display selected content based on editorial, quality, safety, business, partnership, community, or commercial considerations.
Globerry is not responsible for third-party prices, availability, reservations, cancellations, refunds, accommodation quality, tour quality, travel experiences, customer service, policies, or any other third-party service accessed through external links.
12. EDITORIAL SELECTION AND VISIBILITY
Globerry may feature selected locations, profiles, pins, Unique Stays, collections, or User Content in official recommendations, curated sections, search results, feeds, maps, rankings, newsletters, blog articles, social media, promotional campaigns, or editorial collections.
Globerry does not guarantee that any Content will be displayed, ranked, recommended, indexed, discoverable, visible, or continuously available.
Globerry may use automated, manual, editorial, commercial, safety-based, quality-based, or algorithmic systems to promote content, reduce visibility of content, cluster content, feature content, hide content, remove content, prioritize certain categories or regions, limit spam, protect safety, and improve user experience.
Submission of a location, photo, pin, or comment does not grant ownership, exclusivity, priority ranking, permanent attribution, commercial rights, or guaranteed visibility.
13. BADGES, XP, LEVELS, STATS, AND VIRTUAL REWARDS
Globerry may provide badges, experience points, levels, travel statistics, visited places, Travel Map progress, rankings, milestones, featured badges, and other virtual rewards or progress indicators.
These features are provided for entertainment, motivation, discovery, and community purposes only.
Badges, XP, levels, stats, rankings, and virtual rewards have no monetary value, are not property, cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged, redeemed, or converted into money, and may be changed, recalculated, removed, revoked, reset, reduced, modified, or discontinued at any time.
Globerry may remove badges or eligibility if the underlying content is deleted, removed, moderated, or no longer qualifies. Globerry may allow XP or similar progress to remain even after certain badges or pins are removed, at its discretion.
14. SAFETY AND TRAVEL DISCLAIMER
Globerry is a discovery platform. It is not a safety, rescue, emergency, weather, legal, transport, accommodation, or travel advisory service.
Locations shown on Globerry may be remote, dangerous, seasonal, inaccessible, closed, restricted, privately owned, illegal to access, affected by weather, affected by local regulations, affected by natural hazards, unsuitable for certain users, inaccurately marked, outdated, or unavailable.
You are solely responsible for checking whether access is legal and permitted; respecting private property; following local laws and regulations; checking weather, tides, terrain, daylight, road conditions, and safety risks; assessing your own physical ability, health, equipment, and experience; avoiding dangerous, restricted, or unlawful locations; taking reasonable precautions when meeting or interacting with other users; and obtaining professional advice where appropriate.
Globerry does not verify and does not guarantee the accuracy, legality, availability, accessibility, safety, quality, current status, opening hours, route, conditions, or suitability of any location.
You visit any location at your own risk. Globerry is not responsible for injuries, losses, damages, accidents, trespassing claims, fines, legal consequences, travel disruptions, property damage, missed bookings, unsafe conditions, or other consequences arising from your use of Globerry or your decision to visit any location.
15. LOCATION ACCURACY AND SEASONAL INFORMATION
Globerry may display GPS coordinates, map markers, distances, addresses, city names, country names, categories, vibes, seasonal information, travel tips, routes, and other geographic or contextual data.
Such information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, approximate, user-submitted, automatically generated, or affected by third-party services.
Seasonal information, recommended visit periods, bloom dates, events, weather conditions, visual appearance, and “best time to visit” suggestions may vary and are not guaranteed.
You should independently verify important travel, access, safety, seasonal, and location information before relying on it.
16. REPORTING, COPYRIGHT, AND NOTICE & TAKEDOWN
If you believe Content on Globerry infringes your copyright, trademark, privacy rights, publicity rights, image rights, or other legal rights, you may submit a notice to contact@globerry.app or through any Notice & Takedown form made available by Globerry.
Your notice should include your name and contact details, a description of the allegedly infringing or unlawful Content, the location of the Content in Globerry such as a screenshot, pin name, profile name, or URL if available, a description of your rights and why you believe the Content violates them, a statement that the information you provide is accurate, and supporting documentation where appropriate.
Globerry will review notices and may remove, restrict, disable, or keep Content at its discretion, depending on the circumstances and applicable law. Globerry may request additional information before taking action.
Submitting false, misleading, abusive, or bad-faith notices may result in account action or legal consequences.
17. MODERATION, SUSPENSION, AND TERMINATION
Globerry may, at any time and at its sole discretion, without prior notice, remove Content, edit Content, hide Content, limit visibility, reject Unique Stay submissions, remove affiliate links, disable features, restrict account functionality, suspend accounts, block accounts, delete accounts, preserve information where legally required, or report unlawful activity to authorities.
Reasons may include violation of these Terms, suspected copyright infringement, unsafe or illegal content, spam, abuse, harassment, fraudulent behavior, fake pins, misleading submissions, security risks, legal requests, user reports, business reasons, or operational reasons.
If your account is suspended, you may still be able to log in but may only see an account suspension screen and may not be able to access normal App features. Content submitted before suspension may remain public unless removed by Globerry.
18. ACCOUNT DELETION
You may delete your account through the App where available or by contacting Globerry.
When your account is deleted, your profile is removed, your authentication account is deleted, your comments are removed, your likes are removed, your “Been Here” visits are removed, your collections are removed, your badges and progress linked to your account are removed, and your pins may remain public but will be anonymized by removing the user link.
If other users added their own photos or contributions to the same place, the place may remain available with those contributions.
You may delete your own pins where the App allows. If a location contains contributions from multiple users, deleting your own contribution may not delete the entire location.
Deleted data may persist in backups for a limited period. Globerry currently relies on Supabase backups, which may be retained for approximately 7 days.
Deletion of your account or content does not affect licenses already granted to Globerry under these Terms.
19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Globerry may use or link to third-party services, including Supabase, AWS S3 infrastructure, Mapbox, Google, Apple, Booking.com, GetYourGuide, Brevo, Sentry, Firebase, App Store, Google Play, and other infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, email, mapping, authentication, booking, activity, or support providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Globerry is not responsible for third-party websites, apps, platforms, policies, pricing, services, availability, content, errors, omissions, cancellations, refunds, data processing, or business practices.
20. WEBSITE, BLOG, AND INFORMATIONAL CONTENT
The Website and blog may contain travel content, inspiration, articles, recommendations, lists, guides, screenshots, examples, or links. Such content is provided for general informational and inspirational purposes only.
Globerry does not guarantee that Website or blog information is accurate, complete, current, safe, legal, available, or suitable for your circumstances.
21. FEEDBACK AND IDEAS
If you send Globerry feedback, suggestions, ideas, concepts, feature requests, designs, improvements, bug reports, or other input, you grant Globerry the right to use them without restriction, compensation, attribution, approval, or obligation to you.
22. CHANGES TO THE SERVICE
Globerry may modify, suspend, discontinue, remove, replace, restrict, redesign, or add features at any time. Globerry may change categories, vibes, badges, rankings, stats, XP, Travel Map features, visibility systems, moderation systems, affiliate integrations, free or premium features, account features, UI design, or availability of any part of the Service.
Globerry does not guarantee that any feature will remain available permanently.
23. PAID FEATURES
Globerry may introduce paid features, subscriptions, premium tools, digital products, physical products, or other paid services in the future. If paid features are introduced, they may be subject to additional terms, app store rules, refund policies, and payment provider policies.
24. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
Globerry is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Globerry disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, reliability, non-infringement, security, and uninterrupted operation.
Globerry does not warrant that the Service will be available at all times, error-free, secure, accurate, safe, legal, uninterrupted, or free of bugs, crashes, or data loss.
25. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Globerry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or economic damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, loss of goodwill, travel costs, booking costs, injuries, property damage, personal harm, or losses arising from use of or inability to use Globerry, reliance on user-submitted locations, visiting any location shown in Globerry, inaccurate map or location data, seasonal or travel information, third-party services, user interactions, unauthorized access, content removal, account suspension, service interruptions, bugs, or crashes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
26. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Globerry, its operator, contractors, service providers, partners, and representatives from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, expenses, and legal fees arising from or related to your use or misuse of Globerry, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, your violation of third-party rights, your travel decisions or visits to locations, your interactions with other users, your misuse of affiliate or third-party links, or any claim that your Content infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
27. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be excluded by these Terms.
28. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Globerry may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may notify users through the App, Website, email, or another appropriate method.
Your continued use of Globerry after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
