Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.
Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, SDKs, pixels, device identifiers, analytics events, authentication tokens, push notification tokens, crash reporting tools, and app storage.
For simplicity, this Cookie Policy refers to cookies and similar technologies collectively as “cookies”.
2. WHERE THIS POLICY APPLIES
This Cookie Policy applies to the Globerry website, Globerry blog, Globerry legal pages, newsletter forms, the Globerry mobile application, and tools, SDKs, and storage technologies used to operate Globerry.
3. WEBSITE COOKIES
The Globerry website is built using WordPress and may use tools such as Astra, Elementor, Google Analytics, Brevo newsletter forms, security tools, hosting tools, and similar website technologies.
The website may use the following categories of cookies.
A. Essential cookies
These are necessary for the website to function properly. They may be used for page loading, security, cookie consent preferences, website functionality, form functionality, WordPress functionality, and preventing abuse.
These cookies cannot usually be disabled without affecting website functionality.
B. Analytics cookies
Globerry uses or may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website.
Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, traffic sources, device type, browser type, approximate location, session duration, and interactions with website elements.
This helps Globerry improve the website and understand marketing performance.
C. Newsletter cookies and form technologies
If Globerry uses Brevo newsletter forms, cookies or similar technologies may be used to process newsletter signups, remember form status, prevent duplicate submissions, manage consent, and measure email campaign performance.
D. Embedded or third-party content
The website may include embedded content or third-party resources in the future, such as videos, social media embeds, maps, fonts, analytics scripts, or app store badges. Such third parties may place their own cookies according to their own policies.
4. MOBILE APP TECHNOLOGIES
Mobile apps do not always use browser cookies in the same way websites do. However, the Globerry App may use similar technologies such as local storage, SDKs, authentication tokens, push tokens, analytics events, and crash reporting tools.
The App may use the following categories.
A. Functional app storage
Used to keep the App working properly. This may include login sessions, authentication tokens, language preference, notification preferences, map preferences, onboarding status, app settings, locally cached data, and device permission status.
B. Authentication technologies

C. Map technologies
Mapbox may use SDK technologies to provide maps, map styles, map performance, and location-based map features.
D. Push notification technologies
If enabled, Globerry may use push notification tokens to send notifications to your device. Push notification permission can be managed in your device settings and, where available, in App settings.

Globerry may use Sentry for crash reporting and technical error monitoring. Sentry may collect technical information such as crash reports, stack traces, device type, operating system, app version, time of crash, and technical context needed to diagnose issues.
F. App analytics technologies
Globerry may use Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App. Firebase Analytics may collect app opens, screen views, feature usage, engagement events, device information, and app information.
Globerry uses this information to improve the App experience.
